Planning Ahead for the Coming Months

The scale of works indicates two months of considerable traffic disruption across the borough. Residents are urged to check the latest status on the official One Network website before travelling, as dates and times may be subject to change. The works encompass essential upgrades to water, gas, telecoms, and electricity infrastructure, as well as general highway maintenance.

Local authorities advise that while these improvements are necessary for long-term service reliability and road safety, short-term inconvenience is inevitable. Commuters using public transport should also be aware that some bus routes may be diverted or delayed due to the road closures and temporary traffic management systems in place.
