Ex-Met Officer's Vile Rape Threat to Colleague's Partner
Ex-Met cop threatened to rape colleague's partner

A former Metropolitan Police officer has been found to have threatened to rape a fellow officer's partner during a shocking phone call filled with vile abuse and racist slurs.

The Abusive Outburst

Ex-PC Oscar Yustos-Morales launched into a torrent of abuse directed at a colleague identified only as Officer A. During the phone call, Yustos-Morales screamed threats including: "I'm going to burgle your house. I'm going to f*** you up. I'm going to f*** your partner up you Italian c***."

He continued his tirade by specifically threatening Officer A's partner, stating: "You work for the police, yeah. I will f***ing burgle your house and rape your girl." The former officer also repeatedly targeted Officer A's Italian heritage with racist abuse.

Disciplinary Consequences

A police misconduct panel held on November 4 found that Yustos-Morales's call was deliberately intended to cause distress and anxiety to Officer A. However, the disgraced officer had already resigned from the force ahead of his hearing and did not bother to attend the proceedings.

Commander Jacob Pins stated that considering the severity of the breaches of professional standards, Yustos-Morales would have been dismissed without notice if he were still serving. The former officer will now be placed on the College of Policing's public barred list, preventing him from working in policing in the future.

Institutional Response

The case represents another blow to public confidence in the Metropolitan Police as the force continues to address issues of misconduct within its ranks. Commander Pins emphasised the gravity of the behaviour, confirming that dismissal was the only appropriate sanction for such serious threats and abuse of position.

The incident highlights ongoing concerns about vetting and standards within the police service, particularly regarding officers who engage in threatening and discriminatory behaviour towards colleagues.
