In a landmark move for the iconic competition, the Eurovision Song Contest is embarking on its first-ever live tour to mark its 70th anniversary, with a major London show confirmed for summer 2026.
A Historic Tour for a Historic Anniversary
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has unveiled plans for the official Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour, breaking new ground in the contest's seven-decade history. The tour will bring the spectacle of Eurovision directly to fans across Europe in June and July 2026, with London's The O2 Arena set to host the opening night on Monday 15 June 2026.
Martin Green, the Eurovision Song Contest's director, heralded the tour as a unique celebration. "As we celebrate 70 years of the Eurovision Song Contest, we wanted to do something truly unique and special – and the Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour is exactly that," he said. "For the very first time we are bringing the magic of the Eurovision Song Contest live experience directly to fans and their friends and families all over Europe."

The shows promise a blend of contemporary stars and legendary acts. Ten artists from the 2026 contest in Vienna will perform, alongside iconic performers from the past 70 years, billed as "Icons." The 2026 line-up will be revealed on 17 May, the day after the Grand Final, with the iconic acts announced in the coming weeks. Each city's bill will vary slightly, and every show will feature surprise special guests.
Bringing the Eurovision Spectacle to the Arena
Produced by Progress Productions, the tour is designed to replicate the scale and spirit of the main contest for fans who miss out on tickets to the live finals in Vienna. James O'Brien, the company's chief executive, stated the tour would bring "some of the most unforgettable performances in music history" to arenas.
Artists will perform their own Eurovision entries as well as cover classic songs from the contest's extensive back catalogue. The tour begins just one month after the 70th Eurovision Song Contest final in Vienna on 16 May 2026, which will be staged at the Wiener Stadthalle with 35 broadcasters taking part.
This initiative follows a hugely successful 2025 contest, which was watched by 175 million people worldwide, underscoring the global appeal the live tour aims to channel into a direct, arena-filling experience.
