Junior Andre has confessed that he once had a crush on his stepmother Emily, prior to her marriage to his father Peter. The 21-year-old aspiring singer, son of Peter Andre and Katie Price, made the admission after his younger sister Princess, 19, disclosed the secret on the ITV2 reality show The Princess Diaries.
Family BBQ Revelation
During a garden barbecue in the second episode of season three, Princess asked their father Pete, 53, when he realized he loved his wife Emily. Emily, 36, an NHS doctor who married Peter in 2015, is 15 years older than Junior and 17 years younger than her husband. Peter explained they were friends for two years before dating in 2012, when Junior and Princess were about five and three years old respectively.
Princess remarked that she had known Emily 'literally my whole life,' then turned to Junior and said, 'And you used to fancy her when we were younger.' Junior laughed as his father cackled, and recalled his distress upon learning Emily was Peter's girlfriend. Junior responded: 'Did I cry to you or something? Because you said that Emily is going to be your girlfriend and I cried and said, “No, she’s my girlfriend.”'
Sibling Banter
Princess quipped in a to-camera segment: 'There’s some things that Junior will never let me live down, and there’s some things that I’ll never let Junior live down… and that is one of those things.' She added: 'I remember we were camping outside in the garden, and you were like, “Emily, I want you to sleep in my tent!”'
Peter and Emily have three children together: Millie, 12, born in January 2014; Theo, 9, born in November 2016; and Arabella Rose, 2, born in April 2024. They married in July 2015 at Mamhead House in Devon.
Peter's Protective Rules
In another conversation, Peter discussed Princess possibly moving into Junior's bigger bedroom now that Junior lives with his girlfriend Jasmine. Princess asked if her boyfriend would have to sleep in Junior's room. Peter replied: 'You’re going to hate me, he’d still have to stay downstairs, or you’d have to stay downstairs. Sorry, I know you’re 18.'
Katie Price's Love Life
Princess also opened up about her mother Katie's 'extreme' love life, following her turbulent marriage to Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews. Princess said she doesn't 'follow' the former glamour model's 'stories' but hopes Katie is 'happy.' She explained: 'Mum’s in Dubai right now to see her husband and to be honest I don’t really know much about it. Mum’s love life stories are quite extreme and honestly I don’t even follow it myself, but as long as my mum’s happy, we’re happy, and that’s all that matters.'
Katie married her fourth husband in January 2025, weeks after meeting him. Princess noted: 'Mum never has time to relax, her life is chaos.' During the show, Katie advised Princess and Junior about wealth: 'It’s good to have money but it doesn’t bring you happiness, it’s the people around you that bring you happiness. When you’ve got money you attract the wrong people.' She added that they have seen 'so many hangers on use and abuse me.'
Parental Truce
The third season of The Princess Diaries is the first to feature both Katie and Peter, after Katie was previously blocked from appearing. Peter made his debut after signing an agreement in February to never speak ill of each other. However, a review of Katie's documentary saw her share a fan review that labeled one of her exes a 'narcissist.' Princess joked in a montage: 'What could possibly go wrong?'
