What is Trisha's?
Trisha's, officially known as the New Evaristo Club, is an unpretentious speakeasy-style members' club located beneath Greek Street in Soho. Accessed through a nondescript doorway and a scruffy staircase, it offers an old-school drinking experience that is rare in modern London.
Why We Love It
Fondly called Trisha's in homage to landlady and Queen of Soho Trisha Bergonzi, the club features worn walls adorned with pictures of boxers, movie mafia types, and Italian football teams. The drinks selection is standard—bottled beers, a couple of wines, and a random selection of spirits—but the atmosphere is the main draw. Guests can relax on poker tables or in the tiny courtyard, soaking up the vibe of one of Soho's greatest late-night institutions.
Time Out Tip
As a members' club, entry requires being a guest of an official member. However, the club regularly opens applications via its Instagram, offering a chance to join the coolest club in town.
