Soho to Get London's First Tiramisu Café This August

London is about to get its first café entirely dedicated to tiramisu. Marrone, opening on Sherwood Street in Soho on August 8, 2026, will serve the classic Italian dessert in three flavours, each available with or without alcohol.

Three Tiramisu Varieties on Offer

Founded by second-generation Italian Giancarlo Fanigliulo, Marrone's debut menu includes an 'original' tiramisu made with Estate Dairy cream and dark roasted espresso. The 'DOP pistachio' version uses Sicilian Bronte pistachios from Mount Etna, topped with pistachio drizzle and crumb. A dark chocolate and Maldon sea salt tiramisu features Valrhona chocolate from France. Seasonal flavours will be introduced later.

Location and Background

The café takes over the former site of Old Spike Roastery at 15 Sherwood Street, W1B 5AP, which is relocating to a yet-unannounced spot near London Bridge. Marrone is less than a five-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus and close to Mayfair, Oxford Street, and Chinatown.

Fanigliulo originally planned to serve tiramisu from a 1972 Piaggio Ape, a vintage three-wheeled Italian van, but licensing issues have kept it parked outside the shop for now. He hopes to get it on the road in the future.
