Commuters across London are facing a difficult start to the day after trespassers on the Tube tracks caused severe disruption on the London Underground network this morning.
Major Disruption on the Northern Line
The incident has led to the Northern line being closed between Camden Town and High Barnet, as well as Mill Hill East. Transport for London (TfL) staff are currently on the scene dealing with the trespassers, but the closure is causing significant knock-on delays across the line.
Victoria Line Suspension Adds to Commuter Woes
In a separate piece of bad news for London travellers, the Victoria line is also suspended between Victoria and Brixton. TfL has confirmed this suspension is due to a late finish of essential engineering works that overran, compounding the travel chaos on this busy Friday morning.
Fortunately, there is currently a good service reported across the rest of the TfL network, offering some respite for commuters on other lines. The disruption began on the morning of Friday, November 14, 2025.
Passengers are strongly advised to check the TfL website or app for live travel updates before beginning their journey and to allow for considerable extra travel time if their route is affected by the Northern or Victoria line issues.
