Five London Underground lines are experiencing delays this morning (Friday, July 10), with the Jubilee line facing severe disruptions. The affected lines include the Jubilee, Metropolitan, Piccadilly, Victoria, and Windrush lines, each impacted by different issues ranging from train cancellations to signalling failures.
Jubilee line severe delays
The Jubilee line is suffering severe delays due to a faulty train at Southwark. Transport for London (TfL) advises passengers to allow extra travel time or seek alternative routes.
Minor delays on Metropolitan, Piccadilly, Victoria, and Windrush lines
Minor delays are reported on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines following an earlier signal failure at Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3, as well as a late finish of engineering works at Hillingdon. The Victoria line is experiencing minor delays due to train cancellations. The Windrush line has minor delays between Sydenham and West Croydon because of a signalling problem at West Croydon.
Impact on commuters
Commuters are advised to check for updates before travelling. TfL is working to resolve the issues, but delays are expected to continue through the morning peak. Passengers affected by the delays are encouraged to contact TfL for refunds or alternative travel options.
