Racist Assault on Family at Central London Tube Station
The British Transport Police (BTP) are urgently seeking two individuals following a disturbing racist attack at Bond Street Underground station. The incident occurred on Saturday, October 11, at approximately 7:30pm, targeting a woman who was with her sister and two young children.
Details of the Hate-Fuelled Incident
The family was entering the busy Mayfair station when a woman walking ahead of them with a man collided with their pushchair, which was carrying one of the children. Following this minor collision, the man began shouting racial abuse at the family.
The situation escalated rapidly when the female suspect grabbed the victim by her hair. As the victim tried to defend herself, the male suspect produced a small bottle, which he claimed contained pepper spray, and directed the substance towards her and her family.
The pair then subjected the family to further abuse and lewd gestures before leaving the area. Police were contacted, but the suspects had departed before officers could arrive.
Police Launch Public Appeal to Identify Suspects
BTP has now released CCTV images of two people they believe may have crucial information about the attack. Although the family was not physically injured, investigators are working to identify the exact substance that was sprayed.
The female suspect is described as White, of average height and slight build, with long blonde hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a white blouse under a black knee-length jacket or blazer, black flared leather-style trousers, black shoes, and was carrying a black handbag with a chain strap.
The male suspect is also White, tall, of medium build, with greying hair styled into a quiff. He was wearing a white shirt under a navy shacket, with khaki or grey trousers and grey suede-style trainers. He also appeared to be wearing a white beaded bracelet on his wrist.

The BTP treats all hate crimes with the utmost seriousness and is appealing for witnesses or anyone who recognises the individuals in the released images to come forward immediately.
