Rush Hour Attack on the District Line

The incident occurred during the evening rush hour on Tuesday, November 11. At approximately 5.27pm, a female passenger boarded a District line service at West Ham station. She quickly became aware of a man who was staring at her intently, which caused her significant discomfort.

Assault as Train Arrived at Upton Park

Just three minutes later, as the train pulled into Upton Park station, the situation escalated. The man sexually assaulted the woman as he was in the process of getting off the train. He then left the station, leaving the victim distressed.

Detectives from the British Transport Police are now leading the investigation and are keen to trace the individual captured in the newly released CCTV stills. They believe this man may hold vital information that could assist their enquiries into the sexual assault on the Tube.
