Police Release Images After Elizabeth Line Sexual Assault

British Transport Police have released two CCTV images following a sexual assault on board an Elizabeth Line train by a group of buskers. The incident occurred shortly before 11pm on Saturday, June 6, when a group of buskers boarded an eastbound train at Whitechapel station.

Details of the Assault

Two men from the group allegedly sexually assaulted a woman during the journey. The suspects then alighted at the next station, Stratford. Police are now appealing for public assistance to identify the individuals captured in the images.

Suspect Descriptions

One man has short hair and appears to be wearing a dark-coloured leather jacket. The other is described as wearing a cap, a dark rucksack, a bomber jacket, and a t-shirt with a pink and white design on the front.

British Transport Police stated: "Do you recognise these men? Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board an Elizabeth Line train are releasing images of two men they would like to speak to. Detectives believe the men in the images may have information that will assist their ongoing investigation."
