Police hunt Tube bag thief who dragged victim off train

British Transport Police are searching for a man who allegedly stole a bag from a passenger on the London Underground and then violently attacked the victim.

Assault on Metropolitan line

The incident occurred on Saturday, March 14, around 3pm, on a Metropolitan line train pulling into Ruislip Manor station. The victim, whose bag was taken by another passenger, confronted the suspect. In response, the suspect dragged the victim off the train and struck him repeatedly in the head and face, causing facial injuries.

CCTV appeal

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may have crucial information about the attack. They urge anyone who recognizes him to come forward.
