A man has been left with a fractured jaw and required 10 stitches to his head after being attacked by two men on a London Underground train in the early hours of the morning.

The incident occurred on Saturday, May 9, while the victim was traveling on a Victoria line train from Stockwell to London Victoria. He was approached by two men, one of whom picked up his bag from the seat next to him. When the victim reclaimed his bag, the pair attacked him with glass bottles, smashing them over his head.

The assault continued onto the platform at Victoria station before the two suspects fled the station. The victim sustained a fractured jaw and wounds to his head requiring 10 stitches.

Police Appeal for Information

British Transport Police detectives have released images of two men they believe could assist with their investigation into the attack. Anyone who recognizes them is urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 115 of May 9. Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects to prevent further violence on the transport network.
