Lego has unveiled a new Collector's Edition set from the Harry Potter range: The Ministry of Magic. This impressive model includes a realistic London street scene with a tube stop, standing 51cm tall. It is part of the 25th anniversary celebration of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The set comprises 3,491 Lego pieces and includes 14 minifigures, making it a substantial build aimed at adult collectors.
Detailed Design and Features
The set can be displayed in two ways: as a complete Ministry of Magic building or with the top section removed to reveal a London street, complete with a red telephone box and an authentic rubbish bin. Inside, it features iconic locations such as the courtroom, Arthur Weasley's and Dolores Umbridge's offices, the Leaky Cauldron pub, and the Hall of Prophecy. Working features include a toilet that flushes a minifigure down to the ministry, collapsible shelves in the Hall of Prophecy, and a recreation of the Dumbledore vs. Voldemort duel.

The 14 minifigures are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Sirius Black, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Arabella Figg, Nymphadora Tonks, Arthur Weasley, Alastor 'Mad-Eye' Moody, Albus Dumbledore, Lord Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy, Antonin Dolohov, and Dolores Umbridge. Notably, this set introduces the first-ever Lego minifigure of Arabella Figg. It also includes Kingsley Shacklebolt's magical Lynx Patronus guardian.

The completed set measures 35cm wide and 15cm deep, requiring ample display space. It will be priced at £389.99 in the UK and is available from Lego stores and the Lego website. The official release date is September 1, but Lego Insiders (free membership) can purchase it starting August 29.
