Police have issued a public appeal for information following a violent altercation involving a knife at a busy London Underground station.
Appeal for Witnesses After Platform Disturbance
British Transport Police (BTP) have released images of six men and one woman they wish to speak to in connection with a serious incident at Balham Underground Station. The confrontation took place on the southbound platform at approximately 6pm on Monday, November 17.
Details of the Balham Station Incident
The incident began as a bust-up between two separate groups. During the altercation, one individual from a group reportedly pulled out a knife. The situation escalated, leading to the person with the weapon being chased out of the station by others involved.
Officers believe the seven people shown in the newly released photographs may hold vital information that could assist their ongoing investigation into the frightening event.

In a direct statement, British Transport Police said: "Do you recognise these people? Officers investigating an altercation at Balham Underground Station have released these images in connection. One of the people in the group brandished a knife before they were chased out of the station. Officers believe the people in the images may have information which could help the investigation."
