British Transport Police (BTP) have launched a public appeal for information following a violent robbery at Waterloo Underground station that left a man with a head injury requiring hospital treatment.

Details of the Violent Attack

The incident occurred at approximately 6.20am on Friday, November 21. The victim was walking towards the Bakerloo line platforms when he was approached and assaulted by a group of men.

The attackers pushed the man down a flight of stairs, causing him to strike his head. After the fall, the group stole his wallet before fleeing the scene. The victim was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment of the injury sustained in the attack.

Police Release CCTV Images in Hunt for Suspects

Detectives have released CCTV images of four individuals they wish to trace in connection with the robbery. Officers believe the men may have information crucial to the investigation.

The images show all four suspects are black men. They were wearing thick winter coats with their hoods up at the time of the incident. One of the alleged attackers is described as wearing a distinctive white Superdry puffer coat.

British Transport Police are urging anyone who recognises the men in the images, or who witnessed the attack, to come forward immediately.
