London Tube and TfL closures this weekend: Jubilee, Victoria, Overground
London Tube and TfL closures: Jubilee, Victoria, Overground

Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed that track work on the Jubilee line and repairs on the Victoria line will cause significant disruption to Tube and Overground services across London this weekend. Night Tube trains will not run between Finchley Road and Stratford on Friday, and between Green Park and Stratford on Saturday, with rail replacement buses provided for affected passengers.

Jubilee line closures and O2 concert impact

On Saturday, October 3, there will be no Jubilee line service from Green Park to Canary Wharf during daytime hours due to track work. This will affect fans heading to The O2 to see Niall Horan on Saturday evening. Concertgoers departing from Central London are advised to take the Central or Elizabeth lines to Stratford, or the District or Hammersmith & City lines to West Ham, then change for Jubilee line services to North Greenwich from either station.

The Northern line will also be impacted in the early hours of Saturday, with trains not stopping at Waterloo station between 2.45am and 4.15am during Friday Night Tube. Passengers are advised to exit the Northern line at Embankment and travel via Golden Jubilee Bridges, or get off at Kennington and take bus route N155 from stop KB to Lower Marsh, a short walk from Waterloo.

Victoria line repairs and Overground changes

Much of the Victoria line will be shut due to track crossing repair work in the Brixton area. From 7.30pm on Saturday until 10am on Sunday, there will be no service between Victoria and Brixton, with a reduced service on the rest of the line and delays expected.

On the London Overground, Windrush line trains will not stop at Canada Water station, including during Friday and Saturday Night Overground services, due to the Jubilee line track work. On Sunday, there will be no service from Surrey Quays to Clapham Junction due to Network Rail maintenance, with rail replacement buses running between Canada Water and Clapham Junction.

DLR, Elizabeth line and Tram disruptions

The DLR will have no service from Tower Gateway to Shadwell on Sunday due to third party works. The Elizabeth line will see trains not stopping at Acton Main Line, Hanwell and West Ealing after 11pm on Saturday and until 9am on Sunday due to Network Rail maintenance.

Tram services will be affected from Friday evening, with no service from Wandle Park to Reeves Corner after 10pm on Friday and throughout the following week until Thursday, October 8, due to engineering works. On Sunday, there will be no service from Arena to Elmers End for the same reason.
