More than 17,000 runners will take part in the Vitality London 10,000 on Sunday, September 27, starting from The Mall at around 10am and finishing outside Buckingham Palace. The 10km road race, now in its 18th year, is one of the UK's most popular, with participants passing iconic landmarks including Nelson's Column, St Paul's Cathedral, and the Houses of Parliament.

Route and Event Highlights

The course begins on The Mall, proceeds through Admiralty Arch, down the Strand, past St Paul's Cathedral, and towards the Houses of Parliament. It then loops around the edge of St James's Park before the final stretch to Buckingham Palace. Since the race's inception in 2008, notable athletes such as Mo Farah, Eilish McColgan, and David Weir have set records on this course.

After finishing, runners and spectators can enjoy the Vitality Wellness Festival in Green Park, featuring yoga sessions, kids' crafts, boxing workshops, on-site masseurs, and other activities. Live music and DJs will entertain crowds along the route throughout the event.
