Arsenal are drawing up ambitious plans for the summer transfer window after their Premier League title triumph, with Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi emerging as a top target. The Gunners sealed their first league title in 22 years on Tuesday night after Manchester City were held to a draw away to the Cherries. Kroupi's brilliant finish, his 13th of the season, had Andoni Iraola's side in control for much of the game until Erling Haaland's injury-time equaliser.

Arsenal's Summer Transfer Plans

Arsenal spent £250 million assembling their title-winning squad last summer, but The Guardian reports there is unlikely to be a similar outlay this year. However, funds will be available for the club to make a 'marquee' signing, one that could rival the purchase of Declan Rice for £105 million three years ago.

Potential Targets

Arsenal have been weighing up a move for Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez, but reports in Spain suggest it could cost as much as £130 million to prise him away. Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the Argentina international, with positive talks said to have taken place over a move. The Gunners want to bring in a player who can play on the left as well as provide competition for Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz up front. Kroupi is a name under consideration at the Emirates for that role.

The 19-year-old joined the Cherries for £12 million a year ago, seeing out the 2024-25 season with Lorient in France before heading to the Vitality Stadium in the summer. Despite just one season in the English top flight, Bournemouth are said to value him at around £80 million. Kroupi has also been scouted by Chelsea and Real Madrid, with Manchester United also credited with interest.

Other Targets

Arsenal are also huge admirers of Paris Saint-Germain star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, whom they regard as a 'dream' signing. The French champions, however, are not expected to consider offers for the winger.
