Katie Price is reportedly planning another breast augmentation as she struggles with the emotional toll of her husband Lee Andrews' ongoing disappearance. The 48-year-old glamour model has been open about her insecurities, admitting on a recent TV show that she has body dysmorphia and that her surgeries are linked to her relationships with men.
Stress triggers surgery plans
According to a source speaking to The Mirror, Price is 'all over the place' with Lee, who has been missing from social media since July 9. The insider said: 'When Katie’s stressed and doesn’t know what to do with a guy, and her confidence is low, she goes for surgery. And she’s all over the place with Lee – she knows the world hates him and her family don’t like him.'
In a recent episode of her daughter Princess's ITV reality series, Princess Diaries, Price confirmed she has an appointment for September, saying one breast is 'a bit smaller' than the other. She jokingly called it her 'twenty thousandth' boob job.
Body dysmorphia admission
Appearing on Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection, Price shared: 'I’ve realised there’s a reason why I do it all. And it is to do with men. I’ve always said I haven’t got body dysmorphia, because I didn’t think I did. But I realise I do.' She estimated she has had between 30 and 40 surgeries in her lifetime, spending up to £40,000 in total.
So far, she is understood to have had 17 breast augmentations, multiple facelifts, and a fox eye operation. The stress of Lee's situation appears to be driving her back to old habits.
Lee Andrews' disappearance and legal troubles
Lee, a Dubai-based businessman, married Price in January. Since then, he has faced numerous accusations, including fraud, scamming women, and faking a kidnapping. He was jailed in Dubai for outstanding debts and reportedly arrested again in July for attempting to raise £120,000 he owed.
His last social media post was on July 9, and he has been silent since. Price recently removed and then reinstated her wedding ring, suggesting she still considers him her husband. She has defended him against criticism, but has not provided updates on his whereabouts.
History of accusations
Lee has been accused of misleading claims about his wealth, being banned from leaving Dubai, and faking a pregnancy with Price. His exes have called him a 'liar, narcissist and manipulator', and he allegedly tried to sell a sex tape of him and Price for £250k, which he later called a 'joke'.
Price has dismissed the sex tape story, saying on a podcast: 'He said it as a joke, in a voice note to someone, and I sent it to my sister because the email came through to us. I said: “Look Soph, he’s said it as a joke.”'
The situation remains unresolved, with Price's mental health and appearance taking center stage as she navigates the turmoil.
