A North London drug dealer was found with cocaine and heroin concealed in his car speakers. Ramesses Yebiemen's vehicle was 'acting suspiciously' in Kent in February this year, prompting local police to pull him over.
Discovery of Drugs
During the stop, officers discovered over 57 wraps of Class A drugs hidden in his pants. Further inspection revealed that the car speakers were easily removable, containing three containers filled with drugs, along with cash and scales.
Arrest and Charges
Yebiemen, of Higher Road in Haringey, London, was arrested and later charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of criminal property, and driving without insurance. He was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday (June 9) to two years and four months in prison.
Police Statement
Sergeant Ed Kavanagh commented: “Officers from our Neighbourhood Task Force are always quick to spot suspicious behaviour and will take prompt action to tackle those who come to their attention. In this case, they could tell Yebiemen was up to no good from the manner of his driving. He was stopped and despite his efforts to hide his stash, multiple deals of heroin and cocaine were recovered. He is now starting a prison sentence and I would warn any other dealers who are considering travelling to Kent to think again. You are likely to share the same fate as this criminal.”
