Yungblud Cancels 2025 Tour After Doctor's Health Warning
Yungblud cancels tour on doctor's orders

British rock star Yungblud has made the difficult decision to cancel all his remaining tour dates for 2025 after receiving a serious health warning from his doctors.

Medical Concerns Force Tour Cancellation

The 28-year-old artist, whose real name is Dom Harrison, announced the news directly to his fans via social media. He explained that routine medical checks conducted after returning from tour had raised significant concerns about his vocal health and blood tests.

"I have been ordered by my doctor to take a break from touring until the end of the year," Yungblud revealed in his emotional statement. The singer admitted that his natural instinct would normally be to push through, but acknowledged the seriousness of the situation this time.

A Difficult Decision for the Performer

Yungblud confessed that he was initially tempted to ignore the medical advice, but ultimately decided he couldn't take the risk. "It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself to the ground without giving a f*** about anything apart from the music and you guys," he wrote, "but this time I've been told I have to take it seriously."

The musician expressed his concern about causing permanent damage to himself, emphasising that he wants his musical journey with fans to last forever. He acknowledged the frustration this cancellation would cause, describing the decision as "so hard for me to do" and promising to make it up to disappointed supporters.

Looking Ahead to 2026 and Beyond

Practical arrangements are already in motion, with the singer confirming that tickets for affected US shows will be refunded. He also plans to send gifts to fans who had purchased tickets for the cancelled dates.

Looking toward the future, Yungblud revealed plans for more affordable shows in Mexico and Latin America next year. His Idols World Tour is scheduled to resume in April 2026 with UK dates, followed by North American performances in May and June 2026.

This health setback comes after a challenging year for the artist, who was hit by a car in Paris back in April. The summer also brought the emotional blow of losing his mentor, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, with whom he had formed a close friendship since 2022 and performed alongside at what would become Osbourne's final concert.
