On Friday, Ben Delo, a 42-year-old businessman and convicted criminal, donated £36 million to Reform UK. This sum equates to £1 million for every month until the latest possible date for the next general election. The donation brings Delo's total contributions to the party this year to £44 million.
Less than 24 hours later, Christopher Harborne, a 63-year-old billionaire, donated another £36 million.
