One of London's premier electronic music festivals, Waterworks, is set to expand to two days for the first time ever in 2026, marking a significant milestone for the event. The festival will return to Gunnersbury Park on the weekend of September 12-13, doubling in size and offering an extensive lineup that showcases the best in progressive house, techno, bass, breaks, and club music.
Expansion and Vision
Since its inaugural edition in 2021, Waterworks has established itself as an unmissable fixture for electronic and dance music enthusiasts in London. Following its fifth birthday celebrations last year, the festival is taking a bold step forward by extending to two days. This expansion allows for a deeper exploration of London's diverse sonic landscape, as highlighted by festival booker and co-founder Simon Denby.
Denby commented on the move, stating, 'By expanding to two days, we have been excited to dig deeper and go further into the incredible breadth of talent that makes up London's sonic palette. It is a joy to plumb the depths of these ever-changing scenes and shine a light on some of the formidable artists we love – from the originators to those instigating the next steps in the journey.'
Lineup Highlights
The sixth edition of Waterworks will feature a whopping 83 sets across five stages, maintaining its reputation as a who's who of the most exciting names in dance music. The lineup includes a mix of DJ sets, B2Bs, and live performances, with notable artists such as djrum, Midland, and Sofia Kourtesis.
