Sharon Osbourne brands Roger Waters 'sick individual' in feud
Sharon Osbourne calls Roger Waters 'sick individual'

Sharon Osbourne has unleashed a furious tirade against former Pink Floyd musician Roger Waters, describing him as 'one of the most sick individuals I've come across in years' during an emotional family podcast recording.

The Waters Controversy That Sparked the Feud

The dramatic outburst comes in response to comments made by the 82-year-old Waters following the death of Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne earlier this year. On July 22, the music world mourned the passing of the heavy metal icon at age 76, with tributes pouring in from across the industry.

However, Waters took a different approach, posting a video that complained about 'his idiocy and nonsense' in reference to Ozzy's career and public persona. The Pink Floyd co-founder went even further, stating: 'I don't care about Black Sabbath, I never did. I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn't care less, you know.'

Family Fury and Explosive Podcast Reaction

The Osbourne family did not take these comments lightly. Jack Osbourne, who is preparing to enter the I'm A Celebrity jungle this year, initially responded by calling Waters 'pathetic' and 'out of touch' in a social media post that contained strong language.

Now Sharon Osbourne has added her voice to the condemnation during a recent episode of the family podcast. The 73-year-old television personality didn't hold back, declaring Waters a 'sad, irrelevant, old, miserable human being' and questioning his mental state.

The exchange became particularly heated when daughter Kelly Osbourne interjected with an expletive-laden description of Waters, to which Sharon sharply replied: 'He isn't, 'cause c*nts are good.'

Sharon continued her character assassination by claiming the musician has 'no charisma' and adding that he 'looks like Frankenstein' for good measure. She emphatically stated: 'The guy is sick in the head. He is not relevant in today's world. Nobody likes him. It's not just us. Nobody likes this man... unless you're a fascist.'

Historical Context and Ongoing Tensions

The Osbourne-Waters conflict isn't happening in isolation. Waters has previously faced controversy and refuted claims of antisemitism after wearing a uniform described as resembling a Nazi SS officer during a performance in Berlin two years ago.

Sharon Osbourne, who is half-Jewish, suggested this history might explain Waters' actions, stating: 'Do you know why he did it? He did it because he knows I'm half-Jewish.'

The former X Factor judge also contrasted Waters with his former Pink Floyd bandmate David Gilmour, describing Gilmour as 'the most gracious, warm person you could ever meet'. This observation comes amid longstanding tensions within Pink Floyd, with the remaining members having distanced themselves from Waters and toured without him since 1985.

As of now, Roger Waters has not publicly responded to the Osbourne family's latest comments. The music world continues to watch as this bitter feud between rock royalty unfolds, highlighting the deep divisions that can persist even in the wake of tragedy.
