Lola Young Announces Intimate London Palladium Show Following Grammy Success
Singer-songwriter Lola Young has revealed she will perform her first headline concert in months at The London Palladium this March. The announcement comes just days after she claimed her debut Grammy Award for best pop solo performance with her chart-topping track Messy.
Return to the Stage After Health Scare
The 25-year-old London-born artist shared the news via Instagram, describing the March 4 performance as a "small intimate show" and expressing her gratitude to fans. Young's return to live performance follows her collapse on stage during a US concert in September last year, which led to the cancellation of multiple tour dates across England and Scotland.
In her social media post, Young wrote: "Performing live is everything to me, and asking you, my fans, to show up for me after cancelling my tour is something I don't take for granted." She acknowledged that the one-off nature of the Palladium show means she cannot accommodate all fans who previously purchased tickets for cancelled dates.
Grammy Recognition and Brit Award Nominations
Young's Grammy win for Messy marks a significant milestone in her career, though she missed out on the best new artist award to fellow British musician Olivia Dean. Both artists lead the nominations at this month's Brit Awards with five nods each, with Young receiving recognition in categories including:
- Best pop act
- Artist of the year
- Breakthrough act
- Best alternative and rock act
- Best song with Messy
How to Secure Tickets for the Palladium Performance
The London Palladium show represents Young's first headline performance since her health-related hiatus. With the venue's capacity of 2,286 seats, tickets will be allocated through a ballot system to ensure fair access.
Key details for ticket acquisition include:
- Fans must enter the ballot through Young's official website before 12pm on Tuesday, February 10
- Selected participants will receive a unique access code via email from 5pm on Tuesday
- The ticket sale will commence on Wednesday, February 11 at 10am
- Successful applicants can purchase a maximum of two tickets
Ticket codes are non-transferable, case-sensitive, and valid for single use only. The show may be subject to age restrictions, and all ballot entries are limited to one per person.
Looking Ahead to Future Performances
Young concluded her Instagram announcement by expressing hope that fans would continue supporting her as she works toward larger-scale performances in the future. In a December post, the artist indicated she would "gradually" return to performing and pursuing her dreams throughout 2026.
The singer has been open about her mental health struggles in the past, adding context to her decision to take time away from touring following the September incident at New York's All Things Go music festival.
