Luxury Kebab Festival Coming to Trafalgar Square This Month
Luxury Kebab Festival Hits Trafalgar Square

Colonel Saab, the upscale Indian restaurant in Trafalgar Square, is dedicating an entire month to the humble kebab with a special festival menu running from August 20 to September 19, 2026. The festival showcases 12 distinct kebab varieties, highlighting the dish's rich history in Indian cooking.

What's on the Menu?

Served daily from 12pm to 3pm, Monday through Saturday, the menu features South Indian-inspired Pepper Fry beef kebab, Shikandari Raan made with goat, and the legendary Galouti kebab made with slow-cooked lamb. The Galouti kebab, originally invented in the 18th century for a toothless nawab, is so tender that chewing is unnecessary.

In addition to the savory kebabs, diners can enjoy sweet treats like almond rice pudding or bread and butter pudding to finish their meal. The festival aims to elevate the kebab beyond its late-night reputation, presenting it as a refined culinary experience.
