EastEnders: Priya steps in as broken Ravi snaps at son Nugget in hospital
EastEnders: Priya intervenes as Ravi snaps at Nugget

In a devastating turn of events on EastEnders, Priya Nandra-Hart is forced to step in as a shattered Ravi Gulati reaches breaking point and snaps at his injured son, Nugget. The explosive scenes, set to air next week, follow a brutal revenge plot orchestrated by the Mitchell family that has left Ravi spiralling out of control.

A Vengeful Plot Unfolds

The chain of events was set in motion by Harry Mitchell and his mother, Nicola, who teamed up with the sole intention of destroying Ravi's life. Harry, who endured a hellish 2025 at Ravi's hands, was blackmailed into becoming an accessory to a drug operation, saw his best friend cuckoo'd, and was held prisoner in a lockup for weeks.

After Ravi handed control of his operation to Okie Okyere, Harry's life worsened, leading to drug addiction and the traumatic killing of Okie—a crime for which Harry's father, Teddy Mitchell, took the blame and received a life sentence. Returning to Walford from rehab, Harry's hatred burned upon seeing Ravi warmly reunited with his family—girlfriend Priya and children Avani and Nugget.

The Revenge Takes a Toxic Turn

With Phil Mitchell's vengeful words ringing in his ears, Harry, with Nicola's eventual compliance, enacted their plan. With Ravi alone and wounded in Harry's Barn after being excluded from a family adoption interview, Nicola drugged his drink. A hallucinating Ravi was dumped in The Arches, where visions of his deceased, evil father Nish Panesar taunted him.

In a blind panic, Ravi staggered through the streets and, in a horrific twist of reality, savagely attacked his own son, Nugget. Found by Vinny Panesar, the youngster was rushed to hospital and placed in an induced coma. Although Ravi confessed everything to Priya and she demanded revenge, his attempt to retaliate against the Mitchells was stopped by George Knight, leaving Ravi utterly broken and turning to self-harm.

Can Priya Hold the Family Together?

In upcoming episodes, Priya insists that Nugget move in with Ravi in an effort to mend their relationship. However, Ravi's all-consuming guilt leads him to act coldly towards his recovering son. When a wounded Nugget presses his father for answers about why he didn't visit him in hospital, a struggling Ravi is unable to remain calm and violently snaps.

Luckily, Priya arrives just in time to intervene and diffuse the explosive situation, desperately trying to keep the fragile bond between father and son intact. With Ravi's demons threatening to consume him, the question now hangs over Walford: can Priya's intervention hold him and the rest of the family together, or is Ravi's spiral irreversible?
