Big Ben and Houses of Parliament Top UK Views Survey

A new survey commissioned by Samsung has crowned Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament as the best view in the United Kingdom. The study, which polled 2,000 British adults, found that 38 percent of respondents selected the iconic London landmarks as the country's most legendary vista.

Why London's Landmarks Topped the List

Respondents praised the Palace of Westminster and its famous clocktower for their instantly recognisable silhouette (67 percent) and postcard-worthy setting (26 percent). The view beat other iconic sights such as Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland, which came third, and Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh in fourth place.

Tower Bridge Secures Second Place

London's Tower Bridge ranked second in the survey, voted for by 36 percent of participants. They highlighted its legendary status (60 percent) and global recognition (58 percent). The capital's dominance continued with four more views in the top 20: Greenwich Park's Royal Observatory at number 10, the view from Sky Garden at 12, Richmond Hill at 14, and Primrose Hill at 15.
