Beckhams Fear Losing Son Brooklyn and Would Welcome Him Back Instantly
David and Victoria Beckham are said to be deeply distressed by recent public claims made by their eldest son, Brooklyn, yet they remain hopeful of mending their fractured family ties. According to insider sources, the famous couple harbour no resentment towards their 26-year-old son and are desperate to avoid a permanent estrangement.
Brooklyn's Scathing Allegations
Earlier this week, Brooklyn Beckham, who works as a hot sauce salesman and chef, posted a lengthy six-page statement on his Instagram account. In the explosive missive, he addressed an alleged ongoing family feud, making serious accusations against his parents.
He claimed that David and Victoria attempted to sabotage his wedding to actress Nicola Peltz and alleged that Victoria behaved inappropriately during the wedding celebrations. The statement concluded with Brooklyn asserting that he does not wish to reconcile with his family and is determined to stand up for himself.
Parental Heartbreak and Hope
Despite the very public and hurtful nature of Brooklyn's outburst, a source close to the Beckham family has revealed that David and Victoria are not holding a grudge. "They are afraid of losing their son and would take him back in a minute," the insider told People.com. "They are a close family, too. Just in a different way than Nicola’s family is. They love Brooklyn and are horrified about everything."
A second source suggested the Beckhams are adopting a patient, long-term strategy, believing that time will ultimately heal the rift. "David and Victoria believe time will heal this," the source claimed. "They know over time that Brooklyn will come back. They can’t really do anything until then." Metro has approached representatives for the Beckham family for comment on the developing situation.
Wedding DJ Addresses 'Inappropriate' Claims
The controversy stems partly from allegations about Victoria Beckham's conduct at Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding. DJ Fat Tony, who performed at the event, has now addressed claims that Victoria embarrassed her son during the newlyweds' first dance.
"There was no slut dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action," he explained, seemingly refuting sensationalised reports. However, he did clarify why the term "inappropriate" had been used, citing a matter of poor timing.
Marc Anthony's Unfortunate Intervention
DJ Fat Tony did, however, appear to confirm awkward rumours involving singer Marc Anthony, who was also performing at the wedding. "Marc Anthony was performing on stage," Tony recounted. "He then called Brooklyn on stage, he went onto the stage, everyone was expecting it to be Nicola to be the first dance, then Marc Anthony asked 'the most beautiful woman' to come to the stage."
He continued, "Then he says 'Victoria, come to the stage', Victoria is by the stage, she goes onto the stage, of course, at that point, suddenly, literally, Brooklyn is devastated, he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife."
The situation reportedly escalated when Marc Anthony then asked Brooklyn to hold his mother's hips as they danced together. "That whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room," Tony admitted. Following this incident, he explained that Nicola left the room "crying her eyes out" while Brooklyn remained trapped on stage.
The Beckham family drama continues to unfold publicly, highlighting the intense pressures and complex dynamics within one of the world's most famous households.
