BOXPARK Croydon is marking its 10th anniversary with a full-day celebration on Saturday, October 31, including a giveaway of 1,000 free drinks. The event, which begins at 11am, will feature resident DJs, a live band performing tracks from the past decade, and activities for families.
Free drinks: how to claim yours
The drinks giveaway starts at 3pm and operates on a first-come, first-served basis until all 1,000 are claimed. Each attendee can receive one free drink, so arriving early is advised. Options include a draught pint, house wine, a single spirit with mixer, or a soft drink. The offer covers house serves and soft drinks only; proof of age is required.
Entertainment and activities
Alongside the music, the venue will offer face painting, arts and crafts, and a magician. Fancy dress is encouraged, with prizes for the best outfits, fitting for Halloween. BOXPARK's FanPark games will return, including keepy-uppy challenges and other prize opportunities.
At 5.30pm, the Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace match will be shown live on the big screens, allowing Eagles fans to watch the game as part of the celebrations. More details are available on the BOXPARK Croydon website.
A decade of milestones
The party marks a decade since BOXPARK Croydon opened in 2016. According to the venue, it has served more than seven million dishes, poured over 10 million drinks, and screened more than 2,500 sports matches. Past highlights include Stormzy's surprise homecoming performance in 2017 and Fatboy Slim's headline return in 2022; neither will attend this year, but resident DJs and a live band will perform.
