For the first time ever, residents across London can have a fresh Christmas tree delivered directly to their doorstep on the same day they order it, thanks to a new partnership on the Deliveroo app.
A Festive First for the Capital
This innovative service, launching just in time for the 2025 holiday season, offers a stress-free solution for millions of city dwellers who do not have access to a car. Instead of navigating crowded lots or public transport with a tree, Londoners can now browse and order from trusted local suppliers directly through the popular food delivery platform.
The service is part of Deliveroo's Marketplace+ offering, where orders are fulfilled and delivered by the supplier's own fleet, ensuring your tree arrives fresh and ready to decorate.
Tree Sizes, Prices, and Extra Services
Shoppers can select from a range of sizes to suit any space, from a compact 3-foot tree perfect for a student flat to a grand 12-foot centrepiece for a family home. Prices for these fresh fir trees start at £59.99.
The classic 6ft Nordmann Fir, known for its non-drop needles and ideal shape, is highlighted as a perfect choice for most households. For those who need a little extra help, some delivery partners may even offer an optional service to set the tree up in your home.
Convenience for a Hectic Holiday Season
Suzy McClintock, Vice President of New Verticals at Deliveroo, commented on the launch, stating: "As Christmas fast approaches, we’re thrilled to make it even easier for our customers to get into the festive spirit."
She added that the service is designed to save valuable time during the hectic run-up to the holidays, positioning Deliveroo as a one-stop shop for everything from 'Friendsmas' pizzas and mince pies to the main festive attraction itself.
The rollout is happening across 18 specific London neighbourhoods over the next week, with major suppliers Pines and Needles (with 16 locations) and Green Elf Christmas Trees (with two outlets) leading the service.
Beyond the trees themselves, customers can also find a selection of Christmas decorations in the app's Shopping section, including wreaths, garlands, and other festive trimmings to complete their holiday look.
