Camden Market is transforming into a winter wonderland from November 26, with glowing light displays, an Enchanted Ice Grotto and festive night markets running through November and December.
The north London destination will celebrate the season with brass bands, immersive family experiences and seasonal feasting. Illuminated displays will include a ceiling of lights above Water Lane, a Christmas tree with mirror balls in Middle Yard and Camden Lock Place, a glowing light tunnel at Dockray Place and a giant LED-lit polar bear inside Waterside Halls.
Festive attractions across the market
A 16ft Christmas tree and snow globe pods will appear at Camden Lock Place, with dazzling trees at The Quay and Middle Yard. A Festive Village Market will be set up at the Amphitheatre.
A spokesman for Camden Market said: "This Christmas, Camden Market is getting a little frostier and a lot more festive, bringing a season of glowing light displays, winter night markets, brass bands, immersive family experiences and indulge-worthy festive feasting to the iconic London destination."
Night markets and Enchanted Ice Grotto
North Yard Night Markets return every Thursday evening until 9pm from November, offering mulled wine, hot cider, late-night shopping and live brass band music.
The Enchanted Ice Grotto opens in Hawley Wharf's Waterside Halls West from November 26, featuring a glittering ice palace and snow lounge with penguins, polar bears and a snow leopard. Children will be welcomed by Mother and Father Christmas for storytelling, festive workshops, craft tables and face painting.
Camden Market, home to more than 1,000 independent traders, will also offer seasonal food and drink, from mulled wine and hot chocolate to limited-edition street food and festive menus.
