A person has died after being hit by a train at a railway station in Croydon, causing significant disruption to services over the weekend.
Emergency Response at the Station
British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Coulsdon South station shortly before 5pm on Saturday, January 3. The emergency call reported a casualty on the tracks. Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.
Despite their efforts, one individual was pronounced deceased at the location. The authorities have not released the person's age or gender at this time.
