Signal failure at Tower Hill disrupts four Tube lines
The signal fault at Tower Hill has resulted in severe delays on the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. According to Transport for London (TfL) updates, the Metropolitan Line has no service between Moorgate and Aldgate due to a points failure, while the Hammersmith & City Line is completely suspended. The District Line is experiencing severe delays across its entire service, with no trains running between Embankment and West Ham. The Circle Line has no service between Baker Street and Edgware Road via Embankment, though the rest of the line operates with a good service.
TfL has confirmed that tickets are being accepted on London Buses, the Mildmay line, DLR, Elizabeth line, C2C and Southwestern Railway to help passengers complete their journeys during the disruption.
Overground services hit by track and power faults
In addition to the Tube disruptions, the London Overground is facing significant issues. The Mildmay Line has no service between Willesden Junction and Shepherd's Bush while engineers fix a track fault at Shepherd's Bush, and no service between Stratford and Gospel Oak. The Suffragette Line is entirely suspended due to a power line failure. The Windrush Line has no service between Crystal Palace and Sydenham, with minor delays between Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction, caused by a track fault at Sydenham.
Planned closures remain in place on the trams service and the Waterloo & City Line, adding to the travel disruption for passengers.

TfL has not provided an estimated time for when services will return to normal, but engineers are reportedly on site at Tower Hill and other affected locations.
