The Metropolitan Police has launched a comprehensive review of three separate violent incidents that occurred in the capital, including the serious stabbing of a 14-year-old boy, following a concerning knife attack aboard a London Overground service.
This development comes after a 34-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries during a daylight knife attack on a train travelling between Shepherd's Bush and Willesden Junction last month. The victim remains hospitalised in critical condition.
Expanding Investigation
Detectives are now examining potential connections between the train attack and three additional incidents:
- The stabbing of a 14-year-old boy in North Acton on April 25th
- A serious assault on a teenage boy in Ealing on April 29th
- A separate stabbing incident in Ealing that occurred on May 1st
All three incidents under review involved teenage victims and took place within proximity to Overground stations, raising concerns about potential patterns in violent crime.

Detective Chief Inspector Gavin Youlde of the Metropolitan Police emphasised the seriousness of the situation: "We are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry and considering whether these violent incidents could be linked.
