British Transport Police have released CCTV images of four teenage boys they want to speak to after a 16-year-old boy had his phone stolen on a train in South London. The incident took place on Friday, July 22, at approximately 5:30pm, on a service between Beckenham Junction and Shortlands.
Details of the robbery
According to a force spokesperson, a group of boys approached a teenager who was sitting by himself on the train. The group forcibly took his phone, and in the struggle, his jacket was ripped. The suspects then left the train at Shortlands railway station.

Police appeal for information
The force spokesperson said: "Detectives have released CCTV images after a teenage boy was robbed on a train between Beckenham Junction and Shortlands in July. At around 5.30pm on Friday, July 22, a group of boys approached a teenager sitting by himself on the train."
"The group then took his phone, ripping his jacket in the struggle, before leaving the train at Shortlands railway station. Detectives would like to speak to the boys pictured, as they believe they may have information that could help their investigation."
