Police have sealed off a section of Seven Sisters Road in Islington following an overnight incident, with a forensics team currently at the scene and a blue tent visible behind the cordon.
The cordon is in place on the busy high street, and one lane remains shut from Holloway Road to Hertslet Road, causing slow traffic in the area. The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed, but reports indicate something occurred at around 10pm yesterday (August 26).
Bus diversions and traffic disruption
Transport for London has confirmed that a number of bus routes are being diverted away from the area while the police investigation continues. Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek alternative routes where possible.
