A serious three-vehicle crash on the M40 motorway has resulted in a teenage passenger sustaining life-threatening injuries, with the motorcycle rider now under arrest. The collision occurred on the London-bound carriageway near High Wycombe at approximately 8:40 PM on Saturday, February 21.

The multi-vehicle smash involved a grey motorbike, a black Volkswagen Polo, and a blue Hyundai Tucson. The motorbike was carrying a pillion passenger, a woman in her late teens, who suffered severe injuries in the impact. She was rushed to hospital where she remains in a critical condition, fighting for her life.
The 20-year-old male rider from Maidenhead was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
