Severe delays are affecting the M25 this morning after a significant multi-vehicle collision closed two lanes on the busy orbital motorway.

Crash Closes Lanes, Causes Major Disruption

Emergency services, including Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service, were called to the anti-clockwise carriageway at approximately 6am on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The incident occurred between Junction 28 for Brentwood and Junction 27 for Epping.

Two lanes remain closed as recovery and investigation work continues. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether there have been any injuries as a result of the multi-vehicle crash.
