Covent Garden to Get Guinness-Focused Saloon at New Mr Fogg's Venue
Guinness Saloon Opening in Covent Garden This Summer

A new venue dedicated to Guinness is set to open in central London this summer, bringing a unique twist to the traditional pub experience. The Guinness Saloon, part of the upcoming Mr Fogg's Market Tavern in Covent Garden, will feature an entire bar focused exclusively on the iconic Irish stout.

Mr Fogg's Market Tavern: A Victorian-Inspired Addition

The Mr Fogg's brand, known for its Victorian-themed bars and pubs inspired by Jules Verne's character Phileas Fogg, is launching its 11th London location. Taking over the site of the former wine bar The Crusting Pipe, which closed in December 2025 after 45 years, the new venue is set to open on July 20. The space has been transformed into a traditional Victorian pub with multiple rooms connected by original brickwork arches.

The Guinness Saloon Experience

A standout feature of the Market Tavern is the Guinness Saloon, which will have a machine counting every pint of Guinness poured, displaying the total since opening. The bar will celebrate milestones: the recipient of the 1,000th pint will have their photo hung on a wall of fame, while the 10,000th drinker wins an all-expenses-paid trip to Dublin's St. James's Gate Brewery.

In addition to the saloon, the venue boasts a 65-seat courtyard and a 4,500-square-foot interior. Located at The Piazza, 27 The Market, WC2E 8RD, it promises to be a notable addition to London's pub scene.
