Free Santander Cycles Every Sunday in July

Transport for London (TfL) is offering free Santander Cycles Day Passes every Sunday in July 2026. The Cycle Sundays scheme, first launched in 2024, returns to encourage more people to use TfL's bike-hire fleet, including electric bikes.

How to Get Free Rides

To access the free rides, users need to obtain promo codes from the discounts page on the Santander Cycles app. The codes can be redeemed at any docking station terminal by selecting a Day Pass and entering the code. A bank card or phone is required to complete the process. Day passes usually cost £3.50 and provide unlimited 60-minute rides over 24 hours.

Promo Codes for July 2026

The following codes unlock free Day Passes on each Sunday: CYCLEJULY5 (July 5), CYCLEJULY12 (July 12), CYCLEJULY19 (July 19), and CYCLEJULY26 (July 26). E-bikes are also accessible with these codes, but users must first become members. Membership is free and can be created online or via the app.
