In a prestigious recognition of excellence, London Heathrow Airport has been named one of the world's best airports for 2026, according to the latest Skytrax World Airport Awards. The airport secured the 16th position globally, marking a significant rise of six places from its previous ranking, and was also honored as the eighth best hub in Europe.
Skytrax Survey Highlights Passenger Satisfaction
Since its inception in 1999, Skytrax has conducted an extensive annual customer satisfaction survey, evaluating over 575 airports across more than 100 nationalities. Travelers provide feedback on various aspects of the airport experience, including ease of access, check-in facilities, shopping and dining options, staff friendliness, and lost luggage services. With more than 345 retail and food and beverage units spread across its four terminals, the airport offers a diverse range of options for travelers. From luxury boutiques such as Burberry, Bulgari, Harrods, Fortnum and Mason, and Prada to popular British high street stores like Boots, JD Sports, Accessorize, WHSmith, and M&S, there is something for every passenger.
