The Guardian has issued corrections for several recent articles. In a report on Gianni Infantino's re-election as Fifa president, it was stated that he was backed by more than 200 "countries". The correct term is "countries and territories". This error appeared in the Sport section on 18 July.
Andy Burnham Error
An article in Saturday's paper incorrectly stated that Keir Starmer had not yet chosen his top team. The reference should have been to Andy Burnham. This mistake was confined to the print edition.
Other Corrections
Additional amended articles include an investigation into Nigel Farage over undeclared gifts, which a Reform MP described as a "kangaroo court". Also corrected: a story about a high school math teacher running for US Congress in Minnesota, an analysis of moving power to the north, a review of the film 'Out of Sight', and a report on retired UK civil servants failed by pension outsourcing.
