Katie Price slams Dwight Yorke in Father's Day post

Katie Price has unleashed a brutal Father's Day attack on Dwight Yorke, the father of her son Harvey, branding him a 's**t dad' for allegedly disowning their disabled child. The 48-year-old former glamour model took to Instagram Stories to mark the occasion, celebrating several men in her life including her new husband Lee Andrews, but reserved a scathing post for Yorke.

Price's Father's Day message to Yorke

Alongside a photo of the now-football coach holding Harvey as a baby in the bath, Price wrote: 'You should be ashamed of yourself disowning your son.' She continued: 'He lights up everyone who meets him, which is a credit to me. If only you treated him the same as your other son, says a lot about what a s*** dad you are… period.'

Harvey, now 24, was born shortly after Price split from the former Manchester United and Aston Villa striker. Price has claimed that Yorke has only met their son, who is disabled, a handful of times since his birth, despite her pleas for him to be involved.

History of paternity and denial

Yorke initially denied he was Harvey's father, forcing Price to undergo DNA tests to confirm paternity. In her 2016 book Reborn, Price alleged that Yorke was unwilling to accept their son's disabilities. 'I'd explained Harvey's condition to Dwight many times, but he refused to understand it and kept going on about him being fat,' she wrote.

Harvey was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder at birth. He lives with Septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness, as well as autism, an underactive thyroid, and diabetes. He also has Prader-Willi Syndrome, a condition that causes a chronic feeling of hunger, making him prone to weight gain.

Yorke's other son

Yorke has another teenage son, Orlando, who has never met Harvey. Price has speculated that the 18-year-old does not know he has a half-brother. Price has raised Harvey alone, repeatedly criticising Yorke for his treatment of their son.

Metro contacted Dwight Yorke's representatives for comment on this story.
