New Epstein Emails Challenge Andrew's Denials About Giuffre Photo
Epstein Emails Challenge Andrew's Giuffre Claims

Freshly disclosed emails from the Jeffrey Epstein estate have delivered a significant blow to the credibility of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, raising profound questions about his long-standing denials regarding his association with the convicted sex offender and his accuser, Virginia Giuffre.

Email Evidence Contradicts Official Timeline

The documents, released by the US House oversight committee, include a March 2011 message from the former prince to both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. In it, he states, "I can’t take any more of this" in response to media allegations. This communication is particularly damaging as it was sent a full four months after Andrew publicly claimed to have severed all contact with the disgraced financier.

Further emails show Andrew actively engaging with Epstein on how to handle a press inquiry from the Mail on Sunday. He insisted that any statement must "clearly state that I am NOT involved and that I knew and know NOTHING about any of these allegations." In a separate chain with Maxwell, he expressed frustration, writing, "Hey there! What’s all this? I don’t know anything about this!"

Epstein's Comments on the Infamous Photograph

Perhaps the most compelling evidence comes from Epstein himself, who appeared to directly confirm the authenticity of the now-famous photograph showing Andrew with his arm around a then 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre. In a 2011 email, Epstein wrote: "Yes, she was on my plane and yes, she had her photo taken with Andrew as many of my employees have."

This directly contradicts Andrew's assertions during his calamitous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview, where he suggested the photo may have been doctored and claimed to have "absolutely no memory" of it being taken.

The Fallout and Lasting Consequences

The release of these emails adds further weight to the allegations detailed in Giuffre's posthumous memoir, where she claimed she was forced to have sex with the royal on three separate occasions. The mounting pressure from this scandal, combined with the publication of Giuffre's account and US government documents, led to a decisive move from the monarchy.

King Charles dramatically stripped his brother of his royal titles and military affiliations, effectively bringing Andrew's public life to an end. The former prince continues to deny all allegations made against him.

The email trove also reveals Epstein's attempts to discredit Giuffre, suggesting in one message that a journalist should investigate her, claiming "the palace would love it." He falsely alleged she was "never 15" and called her a "total liar." Epstein died by suicide in a New York prison in 2019, while Ghislaine Maxwell is now serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.
