In a statement, Rowley highlighted the fear among London's Jewish communities following a series of targeted attacks. "London's Jewish communities are scared. They have experienced a series of targeted attacks on the community, and they expect our officers to act, protect them," Rowley said. He added that the officers acted appropriately and that Polanski's decision to criticize them using his public platform would have a "chilling effect."
