With thousands of fight fans expected to descend on the area, Haringey Council has taken proactive steps to minimise disruption for local residents.
Comprehensive Measures for a Safe Event
In a direct response to community feedback, the council has rolled out a significant operational plan. The strategy focuses on maintaining public safety, ensuring cleanliness, and managing the expected large-scale crowd movements effectively.
A key concern addressed is public sanitation. The council is installing an additional 72 public toilets, bringing the total available on the night to 119 units. This is complemented by enhanced street cleansing teams and dedicated enforcement officers to tackle illegal trading and littering.
Transport and Parking Restrictions
Significant traffic changes will be in force to ensure smooth operations and pedestrian safety. A series of road closures will be implemented from 6pm until midnight in the vicinity of the stadium.
Parking controls will be strictly enforced. Restrictions are being extended across 10 different parking zones until 11:59pm, with extra tow trucks deployed to swiftly remove any vehicles parked illegally. Authorities are urging all attendees to plan their journeys in advance, warning that local stations will be exceptionally busy.

The council is collaborating closely with the Metropolitan Police, Veolia, and its own CCTV teams to monitor the area throughout the evening. All CCTV feeds will be closely watched to ensure a rapid response to any incidents.
