McDonald's UK will launch Chicken McWings for the first time ever on Tuesday, October 20, as part of the second drop of its World Heist menu, responding to fan requests on Instagram. The World Heist menu, which gives UK customers a chance to try signature food and drink items from around the globe that aren't otherwise available here, will see its second part introduced from next week. Alongside Chicken McWings, the new drop includes Spain's McExtreme beef burger, Germany's Twix White Salted Caramel McFlurry, and Singapore's Peach x Sprite Zero drink.
McDonald's confirmed the launch in an announcement, stating that the new items will be available in restaurants across the UK from Tuesday, October 20. The first part of the World Heist menu, introduced earlier, offered items like Germany's Big Rösti burger, topped with a crispy potato rösti, bacon, cheese, and two sauces, and Canada's Maple & Cheddar Chicken, featuring a chicken fillet with maple-flavoured mustard sauce and cheddar.
Fan Demand Drives Chicken McWings UK Debut
The decision to bring Chicken McWings to the UK follows disappointment among fans when the first menu drop didn't include them. On Instagram, customers voiced their frustration with comments such as "Where's dem wings at," "No chicken wings!!! ?", and "where's the wings?????" The wings, which are crispy and served in China, will now be available in UK restaurants for the first time.
Other new menu items include the McExtreme, described as two 100% British & Irish beef patties with bacon, crispy onions, cheese slices, and a creamy baconnaise sauce in a toasted glazed sesame seed bun. The Twix White Salted Caramel McFlurry features soft dairy ice cream with Twix White Salted Caramel Mix and salted caramel sauce, while the Peach x Sprite Zero is Sprite Zero with a peach-flavoured syrup, served over ice.

Customers can still enjoy items from the original World Heist menu drop for a limited time, including the Chicken & Egg McMuffin from Singapore, Chicken & Bacon McMuffin from Australia, Paprika McShaker Fries from the Netherlands, Mac & Cheese Triangles from the UAE, S'mores McFlurry from Canada, Szechuan Sauce from China, Big Rösti from Germany, Maple & Cheddar Chicken from Canada, and Guava x Sprite Zero from India.
