Two National Lottery tickets worth more than £6.1 million combined remain unclaimed in south east London, with organisers urging players in Lewisham and Bromley to check their tickets. The largest prize is a Lotto jackpot of £5,844,340, purchased in the London Borough of Lewisham for the draw on Friday, September 26. The mystery winner matched all six main numbers: 22, 27, 38, 42, 47 and 59, with the Bonus Ball 31.
A second unclaimed ticket was bought in Bromley for the EuroMillions draw on Thursday, September 25. That ticket matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star, winning £256,117. Together, the two outstanding prizes total £6,100,457.
Urgent Appeal to Ticket Holders
Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: "Somewhere, someone is holding a Lotto ticket worth more than £5.8 million and may not even realise it yet. It's an incredible thought and we're urging everyone who played Lotto in Lewisham for the draw on 26 September to check their tickets carefully."
He added: "Whether you're local to the area or were just visiting at the time, it only takes a moment to check. Just imagine this sum of money in your bank account. This is a massive win and we really want to unite the lucky ticket-holder with their Lotto jackpot prize. Check your tickets - it could be you."
Bromley EuroMillions Prize Also Unclaimed
Addressing the Bromley prize, Mr Carter said: "Anyone who may have bought a ticket in the London Borough of Bromley for the EuroMillions draw on Friday, September 25 should check their tickets. Whether you were out enjoying Bromley's green spaces, watching Bromley FC play, or commuting through the borough, take a moment to check any EuroMillions tickets you bought around the draw date."
He continued: "Someone out there has a quarter of a million pound surprise waiting for them and may have absolutely no idea. So spread the word and get everyone you know checking their tickets. You could be sitting on a life-changing win."
Claim Deadlines and Process
The Lewisham ticket-holder has until Wednesday, March 25, 2027, to come forward, while the Bromley winner has until Tuesday, March 24, 2027, to claim their prize. Under National Lottery rules, players have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their winnings. Anyone who no longer has their ticket but believes they have a valid claim can contact Allwyn in writing within 30 days of the draw to begin the claims process.
If a prize remains unclaimed after the deadline, the money, along with any interest generated, will be used to support National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. Every week, National Lottery players help generate around £33 million for good causes. Since its launch in 1994, more than £53 billion has been raised for projects supporting communities, sport, heritage and the arts across the UK.
Anyone who believes they may hold either winning ticket can contact the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk.
